Meaning - “We worship the three-eyed one (Lord Shiva) who is fragrant (in a state of supreme bliss), and who sustains all living beings. May he liberate us from (the eternal cycle of birth and) death. May he lead us to immortality, just as the cucumber is released from its bondage (the vine to which it is attached).”

About - Mahamrityunjaya Mantra is one among the oldest and most important Mantra's in Indian mythology and spirituality. This mantra belongs to Lord Shiva. It is a combination of three Hindi language words i.e. ‘Maha’, which means great, ‘Mrityun’ means death and ‘Jaya’ means victory, which turns into conquer or victory over death.It is also known as ‘Rudra Mantra’ or ‘Trayambakam Mantra’. The Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra is said to have been created by Rishi Markandeya. The Moon was once in trouble, cursed by King Daksha. Rishi Markandeya gave the Mahamritryunjaya Mantra to Sati, Daksha's daughter, for the Moon. According to another version this is the Bija mantra as revealed to Rishi Kahola that was given by Lord Shiva to sage Sukracharya, who taught it to Rishi Dadichi, who gave it to King Kshuva, through whom it reached the Shiva Purana.

 

The word by word meaning of this mantra is as under:

Om – It is a sacred syllable used in Hinduism

Tryambakam – It refers to the third eye of Lord Shiva

Yajamahe – You worship, honor and adore the Lord

Sugandhim – Sweet fragrance

Pusti – It is a well-nourished condition to enjoy a prosperous life

Vardhanam – One who nourishes, strengthens, enhances the overall well-being of the devotee. It also helps in restoring and exhilarating good health.

Urvarukamiva – Like a melon, cucumber or big peach

Bandhanan – Bound down

Mrityormukshiya – Free and liberation from death

Mamritat – nectar, non-immortality

Hello everyone and welcome to this video on the Om Namah Shivaya mantra, one of the most beloved prayers in Hinduism. This beautiful prayer directly means “my salutations to Shiva; the auspicious and gracious one”, and is often chanted or sung during meditation.

Om Namah Shivaya is a very significant mantra in Hinduism, as it calls upon Lord Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction and transformation. Rise Above: How to Believe in Yourself When No One Else Does

 


Listen up, because I'm going to tell you something that could change your life: Once you believe you are something, you actually embody it. You embody that feeling.

If you were God forbid in a coma and woke up without memory, and were told you used to be a Navy Seal and they need you back now that you're healthy, do you really think you wouldn't conduct yourself differently? Wouldn't hold yourself differently? Wouldn't have a different self-concept of who you are than if you were told you were a piano instructor?

Being successful in life is all about having the proper belief system in who you are. Truly believing that you are something unique, that you are something special in that field.

If you truly believe inside of you that you are one of the best actors in the world, you will be entirely different than if you are merely hoping you're good. You'll exhibit a different expression, tone of voice, and talk more convincingly. You'll use your natural voice instead of a scripted one. You'll be more emphatic, more real, more relatable.

And that comes from utmost confidence in yourself - that you can handle any situation life throws your way. Trust in yourself that you are better than the moment.

The greats think differently. The greats see differently. The greats have a different worldview. They approach the game in a totally different way. That's why they're the greats.

Have you ever looked at someone who has achieved great success and thought, "What makes them different from me?" Well, it's their mindset. They believe in themselves, even when others don't. They see opportunities where others see obstacles. They persist even in the face of failure.

If your effort is low, you're probably not thinking about the opportunity. You're probably thinking about the obligation. The obligation to show up to work, to study for a test, to achieve the expectations of others. But obligations don't inspire us. Opportunities do.

Every time I wake up, I'm thinking, "I'm alive, baby! This is the day! This is an opportunity!" If you want what you've never had before, if you want to do what you've never done before, if you want to be what you've never been before, change your mentality!

I want you to see that effort goes up when you look at it as an opportunity of a lifetime. And when your effort goes up, so does your success.

But belief alone isn't enough. It needs to be backed up by action. You can't just sit around and hope that you'll eventually achieve your dreams. You need to be proactive, to take steps towards your goals every single day.

Think of it like a circuit switch. Your brain is wired to follow your beliefs. When you believe in yourself, your brain switches on the confidence and motivation needed to achieve your goals. But when you doubt yourself, when you listen to the negative voices in your head, your brain switches off.

So it's up to you. It's time to take control of your switch. Stop letting self-doubt and fear run the show. Instead, choose confidence and optimism.

It won't always be easy. There will be setbacks, failures, and moments of doubt. But remember, the greats see opportunities where others see obstacles. They see failures as lessons learned, as necessary steps on the path to success.

So next time you're faced with a challenge, remind yourself that you are capable, that you are resilient, that you are a force to be reckoned with. Believe in yourself, take action, and watch as the world opens up to you in ways you never thought possible.

It's time to take a break from the noise and distractions of the world and focus on yourself. You need to eliminate everything and everyone that is holding you back from your destiny.

You want to manifest your dreams? Fulfill your destiny? Walk in discipline and determination? Well, stop dreaming and start doing. It's time to get real and raw with yourself and look in the mirror. Are you really putting in the work? Are you willing to disappear and focus on you in order to achieve success? Are you willing to forsake all distractions and tirelessly work behind the scenes?

Don't just talk about your goals, plan them. Stop telling everyone your next move and just disappear to do the work required to make them a reality. Every athlete, entrepreneur, actor, and innovator that you admire didn't get to where they are overnight - they worked tirelessly behind the scenes.

You need to be willing to sleep in your car, go without food, and bounce from couch to couch in order to make your dreams come true. Sacrifice like nobody in your family ever has and keep going no matter what. You need to be willing to shut out every distraction, shut up the world, and focus on yourself.

Remember, a man is rewarded in public for what he does in private. If you can see it in your head, you can hold it in your hand. But this requires that you unplug and eliminate all distractions. You need to do an appraisal of everything and everyone in your life and ask yourself, "Are they worth my time?". If not, it's time to unplug.

Stop waiting for someone to affirm you, validate you, or agree with you. You need to build in the dark and announce your success when it's finished.

In conclusion, you need to work hard in silence and shock them with your success. It's time to eliminate distractions and relentlessly pursue your dreams. Remember, if you're willing to unplug, sacrifice, and prioritize yourself, promotion, stages, and opportunities will come. So, don't be bitter, don't be frustrated, just remain faithful and keep putting in the work.
